pub struct PatternOriginExpr {
pub peeled_span: Span,
pub peeled_count: usize,
pub peeled_prefix_suggestion_parentheses: bool,
}
Expand description
Information about the origin expression of a pattern, relevant to diagnostics. Fields here refer to the scrutinee of a pattern. If the scrutinee isn’t given in the diagnostic, then this won’t exist.
Fields§
§peeled_span: Span
A span representing the scrutinee expression, with all leading references peeled from the expression. Only references in the expression are peeled - if the expression refers to a variable whose type is a reference, then that reference is kept because it wasn’t created in the expression.
peeled_count: usize
The number of references that were peeled to produce peeled_span
.
peeled_prefix_suggestion_parentheses: bool
Does the peeled expression need to be wrapped in parentheses for a prefix suggestion (i.e., dereference) to be valid.

Layout§
Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...)
attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
