pub enum IndirectMode {
Pointer,
OnStack,
AmdgpuKernelArg,
}Expand description
Different modes in which indirect arguments can be passed.
Variants§
Pointer
Passed as a normal pointer, nothing special.
OnStack
The value is placed at a fixed stack offset rather than passed as a regular pointer argument.
AmdgpuKernelArg
Similar to OnStack except that the pointer does not necessarily point to the stack, no
extra copy is made, and the passed argument should not be modified.

Layout§
Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...) attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
