Variants

Root

No expansion, aka root expansion. Only ExpnId::root() has this kind.

Macro(MacroKind, Symbol)

Expansion produced by a macro.

AstPass(AstPass)

Transform done by the compiler on the AST.

Desugaring(DesugaringKind)

Desugaring done by the compiler during AST lowering.
